Job summary

Little Scholars Services in Tustin, CA seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead ABA therapy services, oversee clinical practices, and mentor RBTs and BT staff. The role emphasizes data-driven progress, family collaboration, and adherence to BACB ethics.

The BCBA will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and ensure high-quality care for children with ASD, while coordinating with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
• Experience with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities.
• Proficiency in VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, or similar assessments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship abilities.
• Experience with insurance-funded ABA services preferred.
• Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including FBAs and skills assessments, for clients.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized ABA treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
• Provide direct supervision and ongoing training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and BT staff.
• Track client progress through data analysis and adjust treatment goals as needed.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Conduct parent training sessions to support generalization of skills across home and community settings.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with BACB ethics and funding source requirements.
