Job summary

Little Scholars Services in Tustin, CA is hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead ABA therapy and clinical oversight for children and families. The role emphasizes high-quality assessment, treatment planning, supervision of RBTs, and collaboration with caregivers in diverse settings.

You will conduct FBAs and VB-MAPP/ABLLS-R assessments, develop BIPs, mentor staff, and ensure documentation meets BACB standards.

Qualifications

• Current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
• Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities.
• Proficiency in conducting VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, or similar assessments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship skills.
• Experience with insurance-funded ABA services preferred.
• Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including FBAs and skills assessments, for clients.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized ABA treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
• Provide direct supervision and ongoing training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and BT staff.
• Track client progress through data analysis and adjust treatment goals as needed.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Conduct parent training sessions to support generalization of skills across home and community settings.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with BACB ethics and funding source requirements.
