Job summary

Qualifications

• BACB Certification in good standing.
• Behavior Specialist License is required.
• Master's Degree (MS or MA) in a mental health field and one year paid experience.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• One year of paid experience with children or adolescents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and VB MAPP/AFLS/ABLLS-R assessments.
• Develop treatment plans based on FBA findings using evidence-based practices.
• Provide clinical supervision of BHT or RBT workers.
• Direct 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school and community settings.
• Implement and adjust treatment plans written by supervising BCBA.
• Collect data during sessions and analyze to adapt programming.
• Support parents, teachers, and community officials.
• Coordinate communication with supporting agencies and complete paperwork.

Matrix Behavior Solutions, LLC is seeking BCBAs to provide services in Pike County, PA. Matrix was founded by parents of two children with special needs. BCBAs earn $100,000 for 30 billable hours/weekly!

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA), VB MAPP, AFLS and ABLLS-R assessments.
• Develop treatment plan based on the findings of the FBA using evidence-based practices.
• Provide clinical supervision of BHT or RBT workers performing the following duties:
• Direct 1:1 ABA therapy in the home, school and community environments.
• Implementation of individualized treatment plans and programs as written by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect data during each session with the client.
• Skills targeted may be behaviors identified as being socially significant to the family and individuals needs including but not limited to:
• language development.
• activities of daily living skills.
• play skills
• social skills.
• safety skills.
• reduction of challenging behaviors--aggression, property destruction, tantrums, etc.
• Analyze data to adapt and adjust programming.
• Provide support to parents, teachers, or community officials.
• Provide role model appropriate behaviors.
• Provide clinical support to direct care staff.
• Implement consequences relating to appropriate and inappropriate behavior.
• Establish coordination of communication with other supporting agencies.
• Exchange information clearly and concisely with the appropriate parties and concerns.
• Complete and submit all paperwork including documentation of session notes, encounter logs, treatment plans and assessments in a timely manner.

Qualifications And Skills

• BACB Certification in good standing.
• Behavior Specialist License is required.
• Master's Degree (MS or MA) in a mental health field and one (1) year documented paid experience working with children, adolescents or youth.
• Valid driver's license is required as well as willingness to travel as needed.
• One (1) year of paid experience working with children or adolescents (preferred).

Salary

W2 employees $60 per hour. Matrix covers 84% of your health premium. 2-weeks paid time off at your main billable rate even for part-time positions. Performance bonuses.

Staff must have appropriate background checks, transcripts of their degree, and clearances to work in direct contact with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34 and FBI clearances) and be able to participate in Medicaid and Medicare programs. Must also complete the NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry) Verification, as well as an active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).
