Golden Steps ABA, LLC is seeking a BCBA Area Director to oversee the clinical quality of supervising clinicians and lead ABA program initiatives. The role includes mentorship, professional development, and ensuring high standards of therapy delivery across the team.

The ideal candidate will have a BCBA certification, 2+ years of leadership experience, and a strong background in data-driven outcomes and client education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and BCBA Masters Level preferred.
• Current BCBA certification through BACB required.
• 2+ years as a BCBA with leadership experience.
• Experience with multimodal communication systems (AAC devices, modified signs, picture exchange).
• Familiarity with VBMAPP, ABLLS, Essentials for Living, PEAK; strong data analytics and progress tracking.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and manage a team of Supervising Clinicians.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality ABA therapy and appropriate programming.
• Conduct weekly 1:1s to review performance and client files.
• Perform quarterly fidelity assessments to ensure quality and consistency.
• Provide clinical oversight to drive client outcomes and retention.
• Review initial and six-month assessments for clinically accurate goals.
• Conduct monthly case reviews and ensure client/parent satisfaction.
• Promote growth through leadership and collaboration with QA initiatives.
• Attend corporate meetings, trainings, CEU sessions, and staff interviews.
