Job summary

Rib Crib in Sand Springs, OK is seeking a Cook to join a fast-paced kitchen environment. You’ll learn smokers and grills, follow recipes, and contribute to smooth prep-to-plate flow. A strong work ethic and team focus are essential, with training provided for the smoker.

Applicants should be able to lift 30–80 lbs and work nights/weekends. No pitmaster experience required, as we’ll teach you on the job.

Qualifications

• Six months previous job-related experience recommended.
• Certifications/Permits: Food Handler’s Permit where applicable.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 80 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Prepping, cutting, and smoking meats and poultry per recipes.
• Keep the kitchen moving from prep to plate, fast and clean.
• Move pans, trays, and containers between stations, smokers, and coolers.
• Maintain a spotless station and kitchen.
• Support teammates as needed to win as a team.
