Job summary

The Pennsylvania State University is seeking BBH students who are dedicated and student‑focused to provide academic support and foster student engagement through evening drop‑in sessions and scheduled appointments.

The Learning Partner will host a weekly evening drop‑in session, offer up to three additional hours of one‑on‑one Zoom appointments, review assignments, and contribute to community building, tutoring workshops, and campus initiatives.

Qualifications

• Maintain a solid academic standing (B or higher) in at least two BBH courses.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Interest in building community and helping peers.

Responsibilities

• Host a minimum of one evening drop-in session per week (3 hours) at BBH Student Center.
• Offer up to 3 hours weekly for one-on-one Zoom appointments.
• Review and provide feedback on assignments when no students attend.
• Contribute to community-building initiatives and plan events.
