Job summary

Colonial Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Weekend Baylor RN to join our caring team. You will work two consecutive 16-hour shifts (Saturday and Sunday) and be paid 1.25x the base rate, reflecting an extra shift.

You will provide patient care, support our LPN/CNA team, document care, administer medications, and participate in care planning, with opportunities for ongoing education and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current NY RN License.
• Experience in a Nursing Home or Hospital is a plus.
• Valid CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and support to patients and families; perform nursing processes and supervise team members.
• Documentation of resident care using computerized medical records.
• Direct LPN and CNA in timely completion of quality personal care and ensure accurate documentation.
• Administer medications and relay reports per department protocols.

Weekend Baylor RN - Colonial Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

At Colonial Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, our mission is to provide Dignity, Comfort, and Support to our patients, and we're seeking a dedicated Weekend Baylor RN to join our team. As a Weekend Baylor RN, you'll work two consecutive 16-hour shifts (Saturday and Sunday) and be paid 1.25x the base rate, equivalent to an additional shift!

Responsibilities:

• Patient Care & Service: Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process; perform various treatment procedures; provide physical, educational, and emotional support to patients, friends, and families; supervise assigned team members
• Documentation: Ensure concise, pertinent, and complete resident care documentation using computerized medical record process
• Support LPN and CNA team: Direct the LPN & CNA in the timely completion of quality individualized personal care and ensure LPN & CNA documentation is accurate and complete
• Medication Administration & Reporting: Administer medication and give/receive relevant reports, both written and verbal from/to appropriate staff as per departmental protocols

Requirements:

• Current and valid NY RN License
• Experience in a Nursing Home or Hospital is a plus
• Valid CPR Certification
