Upstate Services Group in New York is seeking a Weekend Baylor RN to work two consecutive 16-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, totaling 32 hours, with pay for 40 hours. This arrangement effectively adds a shift's worth of pay.

Qualifications

• Active NY RN license is required.
• Experience in nursing home or hospital is a plus.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and nursing procedures; support patients and families.
• Maintain accurate resident care documentation in the EMR system.
• Direct the CNA team to ensure timely, quality personal care and accurate CNA documentation.
• Administer medications and relay reports per departmental protocols.

Position Overview:

The Weekend Baylor RN will work two consecutive 16-hour shifts (on Saturday & Sunday) work 32hrs and get paid for 40hrs This is the equivalent of being paid for an additional shift!

• Position full-time: every weekend
• Salary range is $42-$44/HR

RN Responsibilities:

• Patient Care & Service: Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process; perform various treatment procedures; provide physical, educational, and emotional support to patients, friends, and families; supervise assigned team members
• Documentation: Ensure concise, pertinent, and complete resident care documentation using computerized medical record process
• Supports CNA team: Direct the CNA in the timely completion of quality individualized personal care and ensure CNA documentation is accurate and complete
• Medication Administration & Reporting: Administer medication and give/receive relevant reports, both written and verbal from/to appropriate staff as per departmental protocols

RN Requirements Include:

• Current and valid NY RN License
• Experience in a Nursing Home or Hospital is a plus
• Valid CPR Certification
