Job summary

Fulton Commons is seeking Weekend Baylor LPNs to join The Grand Healthcare System team. Base hourly rate is $34.48, with overtime paid at 1.25x for two consecutive 16-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.

Positions can be full-time (every weekend) or part-time (every other weekend) with benefits. The LPN will provide patient care, document care in the EMR, supervise CNAs, and administer medications, ensuring high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Current NY LPN License is required.
• Experience in a Nursing Home or Hospital is a plus.
• Valid CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and restore patients' health by completing nursing process and providing treatment, education, and support.
• Ensure concise, accurate resident care documentation using the EMR system.
• Direct and support CNA team to ensure timely completion of care and accurate CNA documentation.
• Administer medications and relay reports per department protocols.

This unique opportunity allows you to maximize your earnings while providing exceptional care to our residents over the weekends.

Position Overview:

The Weekend Baylor LPN will work two consecutive 16-hour shifts (on Saturday & Sunday) and be paid 1.25x the base rate. This is the equivalent of being paid for an additional shift!

• Position can be full-time: every weekend, or part-time: every other weekend
• Part-time position with benefits!

LPN Responsibilities:

• Patient Care & Service: Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process; perform various treatment procedures; provide physical, educational, and emotional support to patients, friends, and families; supervise assigned team members
• Documentation: Ensure concise, pertinent, and complete resident care documentation using computerized medical record process
• Supports CNA team: Direct the CNA in the timely completion of quality individualized personal care and ensure CNA documentation is accurate and complete
• Medication Administration & Reporting: Administer medication and give/receive relevant reports, both written and verbal from/to appropriate staff as per departmental protocols

LPN Requirements Include:

• Current and valid NY LPN License
• Experience in a Nursing Home or Hospital is a plus
• Valid CPR Certification
