BKF Engineers seeks a Principal Construction Manager to lead the Water Resources Construction Management Department in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will provide strategic planning, staff development, and business development to sustain growth and profitability across transportation sectors.

The role requires 15+ years of experience, a California PE, and strong leadership and communication skills. Expect hybrid work, competitive salaries, and extensive benefits with emphasis on project

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or transitional field
• California registered Professional Engineer (PE)
• Valid Driver’s license and insurable driving record
• 15 years of industry experience with increasing levels of leadership and responsibility

Responsibilities

• Provides program level leadership of the Water Resources division within the Bay Area
• Drives business development to achieve market sector financial performance metrics
• Serves as Project Manager on projects as appropriate
• Communicates with internal and client staff at multiple levels to ensure quality and profitability
• Leads planning and scheduling for multiple project integrations
• Supervises CM project staff and guides development of CM subprograms
• Assists with significant program positioning and proposal efforts
• Interacts with Headquarters and Business Development to identify opportunities
• Attends industry events for client networking and positioning
