Job summary

Foster Lawson in the San Francisco Bay Area seeks a Project Engineer to support a marquee $300M wastewater treatment plant build with a leading general contractor. You will bridge field and office teams to move the project from subs to turnover.

Bring 1+ year GC project experience, knowledge of wastewater infrastructure, and proficiency with Procore/Bluebeam/Primavera P6. This role offers growth into Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager on future water projects.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of project engineering experience with a general contractor.
• Experience on wastewater treatment plants or water infrastructure projects in California.
• Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam and Primavera P6.
• Strong communication and ability to work across office and field.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day project engineering on a large-scale wastewater plant build.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and closeout documentation.
• Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and design engineers to keep the job moving.
• Track project schedules, budgets, and quality/compliance requirements.
• Assist with procurement, materials tracking, and field-to-office communication.
