Job summary

Interstate Batteries in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Warehouse Team Member I to accurately execute distribution center tasks using RF barcode scanning devices, material handling equipment (electric and manual pallet jacks), stand-up and sit-down forklifts, and WMS applications.

You will load/unload batteries, restock, rotate, tag pallets, and maintain a safe, clean warehouse. No prior experience required; training provided. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Good written, interpersonal, and verbal communication.
• Experience in warehouse operations preferred, RF/HH equipment, forklift, electric pallet jack, and stretch-wrap machine in warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Process receiving, transfer, pick, pack, and ship transactions accurately.
• Load and unload batteries.
• Restock batteries.
• Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations.
• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
• Maintain warehouse reporting and claims.
• Operate forklift with current certification.
• Tag pallets for transfer, pick, pack, ship.
• General warehousing duties and housekeeping.
• Multitask and transition between tasks.
