Job summary

Trojan Battery Company in Attica, IN is seeking a Duty Cycle Associate to perform diversified testing on lead-acid batteries and related components. You will determine equipment for tests and maintain records of results while following safety procedures.

The role involves testing on the production floor, calibration of equipment, and occasional weekend/on-call availability. Minimum of a high school education with at least 3 years in related testing work is required.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent education and work experience plus 3 years of directly related work experience.
• Skill and knowledge required of techniques in the use and application of testing and operating equipment with products involved.

Responsibilities

• Completes designated plant tests and analyzes results for assurance of product quality and compliance with procedures and bills of materials.
• Conducts process capability studies and calculates statistical control limits while monitoring in-process quality.
• Ensures that all measuring and test equipment is properly calibrated, including duty cycles for customer orders.
• Provides assistance to the immediate supervisor on special assignments or programs and department projects.
• Fills in supervisory role when the shift supervisor is absent.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
