Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Development Test Engineer, Battery, to characterize and qualify battery cell technologies for next-gen vehicles. You will work with inverter and battery design teams, define operating environments, and push tests to failure when necessary.

Responsibilities include creating test stands, writing automation software, and coordinating cross-functional testing. You should have a bachelor’s in engineering, 1+ years in hardware or software development, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 1+ years of electronic hardware or software development experience.
• 1+ years of programming using Python, MATLAB, or Embedded C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Design and build test stands; create wiring, schematics, and instrumentation lists.
• Develop automation and analysis software to collect and interpret test data.
• Supervise integration of test stands: fabrication, assembly, and data/control systems.
• Operate test stands with high attention to detail due to tight margins.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to improve reliability.
