Job summary

Equipment Depot Inc. is seeking a dedicated technician to repair and maintain electric, industrial trucks and batteries.

The role requires reading work orders, inspecting equipment, and documenting repair performance with accurate model and serial numbers. Responsibilities include performing mechanical repairs post-inspection, recording battery data, and ensuring paperwork is submitted to the shop service coordinator daily.

Qualifications

• Reads work orders and observes truck in operation to determine malfunction and plan repair procedures.
• Writes complete repair description on work orders with correct model and serial number and records hour meter readings.
• Records battery information on work orders including specific gravity readings and load test results.

Responsibilities

• Turn all paperwork into the shop service coordinator daily, including work orders and time cards.
• Perform mechanical repairs after inspection and analysis of breakdown.
• Follow safety rules and company policies while servicing equipment.
