Job summary

Equipment Depot in Cincinnati, Ohio seeks a maintenance technician to repair and maintain electric industrial trucks, with a focus on battery systems. You will read work orders, inspect equipment, perform mechanical repairs, and document repair details including model, serial numbers and battery readings.

You will also record all pertinent information and submit paperwork to the shop service coordinator daily.

Responsibilities

• Reads work order and observes and listens to truck in operation to determine malfunction and to plan work procedures.
• Makes mechanical repairs to equipment after a complete inspection and analysis of breakdown has been completed.
• Write complete repair description on work order, including the correct model and the serial number of equipment and record hour meter reading.
• Record all pertinent battery information on work order, including specific gravity readings, load test results, etc.
• Turn all paperwork into the shop service coordinator daily. Includes work orders, time cards, etc.
