Job summary

SR Staffing seeks a System Engineer to act as a technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams, supporting battery system programs and electrification initiatives.

You will coordinate requirements, develop proposals, and ensure alignment across engineering, quality, manufacturing, and program management to deliver successful product development and customer projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Several years of automotive/electrification/energy storage or Li-ion battery experience.
• Knowledge of requirements management and product development processes (IATF 16949, APQP, V-Model or similar).
• Technical expertise in Li-ion battery systems, energy storage, and/or EV powertrains.
• Experience with engineering analysis tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical coordination and project management for battery system programs.
• Develop layouts, concepts, and proposals in response to customer requirements.
• Coordinate system interfaces and act as technical point of contact for customers.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports.
• Coordinate with multiple locations to improve project efficiency and execution.
• Support root cause analysis and resolution of component/system issues.
