The battery assembler will assemble battery systems, components, and sub-assemblies into the container, using varied equipment and tools. The role includes testing components to verify proper operation and safety, reading specifications, and inspecting quality per work instructions.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with electrical systems is helpful.
• Able to read and interpret measurements and drawings.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and stand/kneel for long periods.
• Able to read English and follow safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble containerized battery and components per work instructions.
• Use hand and power tools to complete tasks and inspect quality.
• Test and verify assemblies with appropriate test equipment.
• Comply with safety and quality policies and procedures.
