Job summary

KULR Technology Group, Inc. is seeking an Applications Engineering Manager to lead pre-sales technical engagements for battery, BMS, and energy storage solutions. You will drive architecture discussions, RFIs/RFPs, and trade studies while mentoring an applications engineering team.

Hybrid, Webster, TX with travel as needed. The role requires a strong electrical/mechanical/chemical engineering background, 7+ years in customer-facing tech roles, and excellent communication skills to align

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in sales engineering, field applications, or customer-facing technical roles.
• Experience with battery systems, energy storage, or power electronics.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary technical interface during pre-sales engagements and lead solution discussions.
• Collaborate with Sales/BD to qualify opportunities and shape capture strategy.
• Translate customer requirements into battery, BMS, and thermal management architectures.
• Lead responses for RFIs/RFPs, including technical volumes and justifications.
• Conduct design reviews and architecture trade studies with customer teams.
• Guide evaluations, demonstrations, and early prototype efforts to drive adoption.
• Mentor applications engineering staff and ensure quality customer engagement.
