Jupiter Power seeks a Renewable Energy Technician for the Flower Valley II battery site in Pecos, Texas. The role involves construction and maintenance of substations, HV systems, and BESS assets, with focus on troubleshooting protections and relay schemes, safety, and coordination with contractors and landowners.

Responsibilities include site operations, inventory management, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience with diagnostic tools.
• Able to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Must follow safety protocols on site.
• Ability to operate computer-based programs and interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction and maintenance of substations, transmission, collection systems, and BESS equipment.
• Provide troubleshooting for protections and control equipment and relay schemes.
• Coordinate emergency response and repair of high voltage equipment and BESS systems.
• Establish and maintain inventory, equipment, tooling, and vehicles.
• Support BOP operations and substation equipment tasks.
• Complete LOTO training and maintain proficiency.
• Operate the facility safely and in an environmentally friendly manner.
• Assist during after-hours emergencies and calls.
