Job summary

Ormat Technologies, Inc. in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Technician to support high plant availability through preventative and corrective maintenance of battery storage equipment. You will monitor asset health, perform rounds, and coordinate field activities with operations management.

This role requires hands-on ability with mechanical and electrical systems, PLC instrumentation, and the use of test equipment. Occasional travel and on-call duties apply.

Qualifications

Two years of technical training in battery storage operations and maintenance.
Four years of power plant experience or equivalent environment.
Knowledge of PLC instrumentation and control systems.
Ability to read engineering drawings and vendor drawings.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Operate routine and preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
Schedule field activities with operations management.
Maintain and update spare parts program.
Remote monitoring of asset health and troubleshooting.
Use test equipment and schematics to diagnose equipment and systems.
Be on-call for remote troubleshooting.
Ability to travel up to 25% for site support.
