Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Assistant Electrical Superintendent to oversee BESS construction and ensure safe, successful project execution. The role is based on a full-time jobsite in Clay, CA, with location details discussed during interview.

Responsibilities include leading field operations, mentoring staff, coordinating with engineering and procurement, and enforcing safety and quality control across multiple projects in the region.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in utility-scale renewable construction or industrial/commercial electrical construction.
• 1–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience managing union labor and subcontractors.
• State-licensed electrician or journeyman preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification.
• Strong English communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day field operations of energy storage projects.
• Mentor junior level employees.
• Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide guidance and training to develop team members' skills.
• Hire and develop craft labor employees.
• Develop and implement operations procedures for continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to the Quality Control plan.
