Qualifications

• Proven track record in controls and software engineering with deep practical understanding of lithium-ion battery architectures and external BMS software.
• Experience acting as a primary software POC with external suppliers or OEMs and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in modern software practices and languages (Rust, Python, C/C++).
• Expertise in automotive/industrial communication networks (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet) and diagnostic toolchains.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering voice bridging legacy automotive hardware and modern software infrastructure.
• Design and deploy translation layers and gateways for integrating battery packs into the centralized system.
• Develop containerized applications to handle external BMS communication, data parsing, and fault management.
• Build resilient CAN, Ethernet, Modbus interfaces for diverse OEM packs without compromising stability.
• Collaborate with power electronics, site controllers, and BMS teams to harmonize integrated modules.
• Drive validation across simulations, HIL platforms, and physical hardware to verify BMS behavior and safety.
