Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with experimental design, fabrication, instrumentation, and data acquisition.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or similar programming language.
• Experience with battery testing, electrochemistry, energy storage, or failure analysis is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, instrumenting, and conducting laboratory experiments
• Developing test plans and troubleshooting experimental setups
• Performing engineering calculations and analyzing experimental data
• Developing MATLAB, Python, or similar scripts for data processing, visualization, and test automation
• Conducting battery cell, module, and pack testing and supporting failure-analysis investigations
• Interpreting experimental results and identifying mechanisms
• Preparing technical reports, proposals, and presentations
• Communicating findings to clients and multidisciplinary project teams
