Job summary

Comrise is seeking an experienced quality engineer for our Glendale, KY onsite role with initial training in Marshall, MI. The position offers a salary of $80,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience, and requires a strong background in vehicle-quality control and leadership.

Training lasts up to six months in Marshall, MI, after which you will relocate to Glendale for permanent assignment. You will manage battery core testing quality, develop testing methods, monitor data, and drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in science or engineering.
• Preferred: vehicle/chemical/materials/automation fields.
• 5+ years quality control in vehicle manufacturing and first-tier suppliers.
• 2+ years team management (≥3 people).
• Familiar with IATF16949, ISO9001, VDA6.3/6.5 and ISO17025.
• Trained in 8D, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.
• Knowledge of QC seven tools.
• Strong data analysis and risk assessment.
• Good English reading/writing; oral English preferred.
• Leadership to guide the team positively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee battery core testing quality management (physical/chemical tests, appearance checks, CT, GC).
• Improve testing method effectiveness and evaluate results.
• Address quality issues with data monitoring and improvement projects.
• Develop detection methods; boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate across on-site processes, equipment, and production for closed-loop management.
