Job summary

Comrise is seeking an Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Specialist – Chemical in Glendale, Kentucky. The role will inspect and analyze incoming raw materials to ensure they meet quality specs and support reliable production.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with chemical analysis, lab instruments, and quality control procedures. Training includes six months in Marshall, Michigan, with accommodation provided, after which duties return to Glendale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years in chemical testing, laboratory analysis, or incoming QC.
• Hands-on experience operating analytical laboratory instruments.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent chemical analysis and inspection of incoming raw materials.
• Operate GC, ICP, Karl Fischer titration, C-S analyzers, BET, and LPS equipment.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and test reports.
• Troubleshoot lab equipment and document resolutions.
• Support lab audits and equipment qualification activities.
• Assist with MSA, calibration, and measurement accuracy verifications.
• Review testing methods to ensure alignment with specs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to improve inspection processes.
