Job summary

LG Energy Solution is seeking a QA Technician to support the manufacturing of containerized Energy Storage Systems (ESS) used in grid-scale energy storage. This role performs in-process quality inspections, audits, and data-driven analysis to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical training in Manufacturing, Quality, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final quality inspections on related components throughout manufacturing.
• Identify defects and nonconforming conditions, initiate containment activities.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions to improve quality and processes.
• Perform voltage measurement testing using plant and field equipment for data analysis.
• Audit the manufacturing process for conformance to engineering drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Inspect mechanical and electrical assemblies for workmanship and quality.
