Lithion Battery in Henderson, NV is seeking a Test Engineer to develop, support, and optimize manufacturing test systems for battery pack production. This role ensures product quality, reliability, safety, and production efficiency through advanced testing equipment and data analysis.

The position collaborates with Manufacturing, Quality, Product Engineering, and Operations to troubleshoot test failures, improve test coverage, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced battery manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Manufacturing/Mechatronics)
• Minimum 3 years in test/manufacturing engineering or related field
• Experience supporting test systems in manufacturing
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
• Experience with electrical test and measurement equipment
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical docs
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Support production testing of battery packs, subassemblies, and electronic components (EOL, functional, safety, performance)
• Troubleshoot/test failures and equipment issues to minimize downtime
• Provide hands-on support to manufacturing operations to improve productivity
• Monitor test system performance and drive reliability and throughput
• Support ramp-ups, process changes, and NPI activities
• Design, develop, validate, and maintain test equipment and fixtures
• Develop test procedures, specs, and work instructions
• Improve testing methods and implement new testing technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet product and manufacturing requirements
• Analyze test and manufacturing data to identify trends and improvements
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
• Generate reports to support quality decisions
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
