Job summary

Meta's Battery Product Design Engineer will own complex mechanical systems from concept to mass production, driving technical solutions and strategy across product teams. You will mentor engineers and collaborate with internal and external partners to align programs and deliver high‑volume, reliable assemblies in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead development from early concepts through prototyping, validation, and mass production, ensuring manufacturability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 6+ years of mechanical design experience shipping high-volume products or complex electromechanical assemblies
• Demonstrated leadership of complex assemblies from concept to production
• Expertise in 3D/2D CAD, DFM/DFA, GD&T, material properties, and high-volume manufacturing techniques
• Proven experience mentoring other engineers
• Experience contributing to product or technology roadmaps and influencing program-level strategy

Responsibilities
