Job summary

Wise Skulls LLC seeks a Mechanical & Thermal Battery Test Engineer to define and implement test methods for mechanical and thermal performance of battery materials, cells, modules, and systems. Qualifications

• MS in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.
• BS in Mechanical/Materials Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate test methodologies for mechanical, thermal, and reliability performance of battery components.
• Plan and execute mechanical abuse, thermal, environmental, and durability testing programs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define test objectives and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with external laboratories to address capability gaps and establish new testing methods.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations for battery testing.
• Analyze test data, identify failure mechanisms, and provide technical recommendations.
• Prepare comprehensive test reports and present findings to teams.
• Support root cause investigations and correlate results with simulations.
