Job summary

IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer for a lithium battery separator operation in the United States. The role centers on owning and improving critical manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, yield and efficiency on the plant floor.

You will work with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, R&D, EHS and Supply Chain to implement data-driven improvements and scalable processes that drive cost reduction and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience applying Root Cause Analysis, SPC, PFMEA, DOE and Six Sigma.
• Hands-on engineer in a lithium battery separator manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and support manufacturing processes including mixing, coating, slitting and material handling.
• Monitor process performance to improve safety, quality, yield and throughput.
• Troubleshoot issues, lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Establish process windows, operating parameters, setup standards and procedures.
• Support startups, process validation and equipment qualification readiness.
• Lead CI initiatives focused on scrap reduction, yield and cycle-time improvements.
• Apply engineering and statistical methods in decision making.
