Job summary

American Lithium Energy Corporation in San Diego is seeking an experienced Production & Operations leader to manage day-to-day operations across electrode fabrication, cell assembly, formation, aging, testing and final processing.

You will drive safety, quality, yield and OEE targets, lead Area Supervisors and cross‑functional teams, and coach staff to improve throughput, reduce scrap and costs while maintaining strict process controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Science, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of progressive manufacturing experience with leadership in battery manufacturing.
• Hands-on knowledge of lithium-ion battery manufacturing processes and equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations for Megaline production areas including electrode fabrication, cell assembly, formation, aging, testing, and final processing.
• Meet targets for safety, quality, yield, OEE, cost, throughput and on-time delivery.
• Support ramp-up and steady-state operation of automated Megaline equipment and processes.
• Monitor KPIs and drive improvements in throughput, yield, scrap, downtime, and OEE.
• Ensure adherence to standard work, procedures, and process controls.
• Direct Area Supervisors, Operators, Technicians, and Shipping personnel, and develop production teams.
• Set staffing plans, shift coverage, training requirements, and cross-functional flexibility.
• Promote safety, quality, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
