Job summary

Coreshell is seeking a Chemical Technician in San Leandro, CA to synthesize and characterize new battery materials and thin-film coating materials. You will work with analytical instruments and maintain data records according to SOPs.

Qualified candidates have a B.S. in Chemistry/related field and lab experience; industrial experience is a plus. The role is full-time, with hourly compensation and stock incentives based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have laboratory experience and safety in a lab environment.
• Completed chemistry-related courses with lab components.
• Experience with material characterization is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize and characterize new battery materials and thin-film coating materials.
• Characterize inorganic/organic materials using analytical instruments.
• Follow SOPs and maintain weekly data records.
• Keep accurate records of all lab activities, procedures, observations and results.

Education

B.S. degree or equivalent in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering/ Materials Science
