Job summary

Saft America, Inc. is seeking a results-driven Production Manager in Jacksonville to oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of the battery production line. You will drive efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery while leading a team of supervisors and operators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in production management, preferably in a battery manufacturing facility.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with production planning and scheduling software.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demand and optimize efficiency.
• Coordinate with purchasing department to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and equipment.
• Supervise and train production staff, ensuring they adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
• Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and engineering, to resolve any production issues.
• Manage inventory levels to avoid production bottlenecks and minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
