BETA Technologies is seeking a Battery Management System Engineer to own the end-to-end BMS and charge control for our aircraft. You will work on bare-metal bring-up, MCU timing, and software/hardware integration, fostering safety and reliability in a small, focused team.
The role requires C/C++ and Python expertise, experience with embedded development, and a hands-on approach to testing and certification environments in South Burlington, VT.

In this role as a Battery Management System Engineer, you’ll be a part of a small team responsible for the BMS and Charge Control functions and circuitry on the aircraft. You’ll own the system end to end, from defining how the system should work, to prototype board design, prototype firmware bring-up, and debugging issues in the field.
The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of embedded software and hardware development, from bare-metal board bring-up and understanding of microcontroller timing and execution characteristics to high-level software specification and design methods and techniques.
