Job summary

Enovix Corporation, hybrid-work friendly, seeks a Patent Agent or Attorney to join our IP department on a contractual basis in Fremont, CA. You will draft and file patent applications, manage the IP portfolio, and prosecute patents to protect innovative battery technologies.

Responsibilities include prior art searches, IP due diligence, and collaboration with inventors to craft strong patent strategies. U.S. registration and 1–3 years of experience are preferred; batteries experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, materials science, or related field.
• USPTO Patent Agent or Attorney registration required.
• 1–3 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience.
• Experience with batteries or energy storage is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IP laws and office action handling.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and file patent applications (provisional, non-provisional, PCT).
• Manage IP portfolio, track deadlines, respond to office actions.
• Prosecute patents; communicate with examiners and negotiate claims.
• Conduct prior art searches and IP due diligence.
• Collaborate with inventors to align IP strategy.
• Assist with trademark prosecution and enforcement.
• Ensure compliance with IP laws and regulations; support litigation reviews.
