Qualifications

• BS and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience
• MS or higher preferred in Chemical Eng, Materials Science, or Electrochemistry
• Experience with teardown and characterization of Li-ion batteries
• Proficiency with electrochemical techniques (CV, EIS, GITT, PITT)
• Familiar with data analysis and statistics for failure rates

Responsibilities

• Organize and perform battery failure analysis to unravel causation
• Interpret analytical data and laboratory test results
• Perform teardown and prepare technical reports
• Develop FA protocols and oversee testing
• Train technicians to maintain high standards
