Job summary

The Commissioning Manager at Saft will lead the development and execution of ESS installation and commissioning processes, coordinating field personnel and subcontractors to meet project requirements on time and within budget.

They will drive a safety-first culture, liaise with Sourcing and Project Managers, and develop standard I&C documentation, training, and QA feedback to support continuous improvement across the Americas region.

Qualifications

BS degree or higher in Engineering or related discipline with supporting experience.
Minimum 10 years engineering experience.
Experience leading installation and commissioning of industrial projects in Power Generation/Energy.
Battery product knowledge.

Responsibilities

Coordinate field service engineers, technicians, and subcontractors on installation and commissioning tasks.
Create project commissioning plans for new ESS projects in the Americas.
Develop and maintain ESS I&C standard documentation and training.
Select, train, and qualify subcontractors for I&C work with ESS Sourcing.
Develop RFQ packages for I&C contracts and liaise with Sourcing and Legal.
Provide feedback to Quality and Engineering; support RCA and CAPA.
Provide technical support to field personnel and subcontractors.
Drive a safety-first culture in I&C processes and execution.
Collaborate with ESS Quality and Safety Managers.
