Job summary

Evolving Solution Services is seeking an Entry-Level Assistant Equipment Engineer to support the commissioning, optimization, and improvement of automated equipment on our battery production lines. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or Automation engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience; recent graduates welcome.
• Internship, co‑op, or academic project experience with equipment, automation, or controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating and improving battery production equipment.
• Support equipment commissioning, debugging, and PLC programming/adjustments.
• Analyze equipment performance data to identify downtime or defect causes.
• Assist with servo systems, robotics, VFDs, sensors, and industrial communication setup.
• Support electrical troubleshooting, including control cabinets, IO signals, and safety circuits.
• Collaborate with equipment technicians on maintenance planning and technical issues.
• Develop and update equipment maintenance standards, SOPs, and documentation.
• Participate in new equipment installation, qualification, and production ramp‑up.
• Support cross‑functional projects with production, quality, and process engineering teams.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in one of the following (or a related engineering field)

0–2 years of experience

Internship/co‑op/academic project experience in equipment/automation/controls
