Kodak is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for its Battery Coating Division in Rochester, NY. The role will support pilot and production-scale RTR facilities, repairing and maintaining chemical processing equipment and instrumentation.

Qualifications include HS diploma or GED, technical training or long industrial experience, and proficiency with PLCs, electrical drawings, and safety standards. On-site role with strong teamwork expectations.

Competenze

• Formal instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, and/or AEM training and demonstrated experience.
• Mechanical equipment repair training and/or demonstrated experience: pumps, mechanical seals, agitators, gear boxes, fans.
• Demonstrate practical analytical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical, instrument and machine drawings.
• Ability to read PLC programs to troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Excellent safety record – safety and environment prioritized in all work.
• Knowledge of Lock Out / Tag Out.
• Understanding of electrical codes for hazardous environments (flammable liquids).
• OSHA training or certification for electrical work >50 volts.
• Good communication with maintenance planner, technical staff and operations.
• Team player – flexible and collaborative with other trades.

Mansioni

• Maintain, repair, install, and improve chemical processing equipment and machinery including pneumatics, hydraulics, controls (PLC), and electrical components.
• Repair and service instrumentation including pneumatic and electronic devices and PLC control logic as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardwire relay logic, motor control circuits, and utility/ lighting circuits.
• Install new control circuits and modify existing instrument/electrical systems as requested.
