Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Pre Sell Delivery Driver to promote our battery products by ensuring accurate, timely deliveries to dealers. You will meet sales metrics, manage inventory, communicate across the team, and maintain dealer relationships while upholding safety standards.

The role requires at least two years of customer service, Direct Store Delivery experience preferred, and a valid driver’s license with a DOT medical card.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant customer service experience.
• Direct Store Delivery (DSD) experience, preferred.
• High school graduate (or equivalent).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to build relationships.
• Strong time management and organizational skills under moderate supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in daily tasks.
• Working knowledge of electronic inventory management tools is required.
• Must have and maintain a valid DOT medical card and a state Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales and service metrics as defined by the manager.
• Ensure accurate, timely delivery of new batteries, merchandising fixtures, and related products.
• Communicate effectively with Pre Sell Manager via text, email, and phone.
• Execute consignment changes, secure recyclable batteries, complete warranty claims, and invoicing.
• Maintain the route, dealer list, and dealer relationships.
• Interact professionally with team members, managers, and customers.
• Follow/fulfill driver program requirements as specified by the manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
