Responsibilities

• Replace, charge, and maintain forklift batteries.
• Operate battery-changing and charging equipment.
• Monitor battery performance and charging cycles.
• Assign lift trucks and maintain equipment and key-control logs.
• Track preventive maintenance schedules.
• Assist maintenance personnel with troubleshooting and projects.
• Maintain battery and material-handling equipment inventory.
• Label, store, and handle batteries properly.
• Keep the battery-charging area clean and safe.
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures.
