Job summary

Dollar Tree Distribution in Ridgefield, Washington invites an experienced Battery Tech to join our 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00–10:30pm). Pay rate starts at $22.50 per hour.

You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electric-powered material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, at our corporate office. The role requires hands-on problem solving, logging work orders in CMMS, and maintaining accurate service records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience maintaining electric-powered material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc).
• Working knowledge of basic electrical systems, motors, batteries, chargers, and wiring.
• Ability to read and understand equipment manuals, diagrams, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electric-powered material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with MHE, including batteries, chargers, wiring, motors, and controls.
• Use maintenance software systems to log work orders, track performance metrics, and ensure accountability.
