Job summary

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program, have strong English, proficiency with Excel and Python/MATLAB, and can commit to full-time hybrid work (36.25 hours/week) in Mountain View.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program at an accredited college or university.
• US Work Authorization required.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (overall, not just major).
• Completed at least 60 college credit hours at the time of application.
• Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week).
• Must submit an unofficial college transcript with your application.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an intern on the E-Mobility Team, focusing on battery cell technology scouting.
• Identify and evaluate emerging battery cell technologies for BMW's future electric vehicles.
• Research North American battery material and cell innovations, with an emphasis on technologies that enable fast charging.
• Improve BMW's scouting methods for information gathering, trend analysis, and internal communication.
