Job summary

Lyten is seeking a Formation Process Engineer for their Cell Manufacturing Engineering team in San Leandro, California. In this role, you will focus on process engineering for pilot battery cell formation, collaborating with R&D to conduct experiments and lead technology transfers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in engineering involving electrical or electromechanical systems.
• Able to converse confidently on all aspects of cell manufacturing.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Own process engineering for pilot battery cell formation.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for failures.
• Train technicians on formation operations.

Skills

Proficient in SQL

Statistical analysis software (R, JMP, Minitab)

Operating and troubleshooting battery formation/testing equipment

GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis

SolidWorks or CAD

Python

Education
