Job summary

Interstate All Battery in Wichita, KS is seeking a Sales Associate who will sell products, install batteries, and deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in our retail store. You’ll help customers pick the right batteries for cars, watches, keys, and more, while keeping the store clean and welcoming.

A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of sales experience; battery installation knowledge is a plus.

Sales Associates are responsible for selling products in our retail stores and for installing all types of batteries for customers, including watch/key fob and car batteries. In addition, he or she is responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment for our customers at all times.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the inventory management process
• Interacts and communicates professionally with commercial customers
• Maintains a neat and clean appearance and follows company dress code policy at all times
• Understands and follows all operational policies and procedures relating to cash handling, safety and security, and other store related matters
• Exhibits a commitment to punctual and regular attendance for all assigned shifts

• Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
• May be required to pick up/deliver products in the local area
