Job summary

Aved is seeking a Battery Assembler Lead for 1st and 2nd shifts in Lowell, MA. The role covers supervising a small team through all assembly tasks and rotating duties to ensure smooth production.

You will guide team members, monitor time/attendance, and enforce safety and workmanship standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Training and PPE usage are part of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to oversee a small group of Battery Assembly employees.
• Read and understand work instructions written in English.
• Basic measuring tools and reading calipers/ Vernier.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Battery Assemblers rotate through all tasks in a production process.
• Oversee final assembly of cables, battery packs or electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Adhere to workmanship standards and safety protocols.
• Verify time and attendance and enforce policy for productive workforce.
• Participate in cross-training across divisions.
• Use lead-free solder on PC boards.
• Wear PPE as required by safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
