Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience in battery applications, testing, system integration, product development, or technical support.
• Experience with lead-acid and/or lithium-ion battery systems, including battery performance, charging characteristics, and application requirements.
• Strong hands‑on experience with electrical testing, troubleshooting, and technical problem‑solving.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and connector pinouts.
• Ability to analyze technical data and communicate findings through clear reports and presentations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer issues and project priorities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams, international engineering teams, and customers.
• Willingness and ability to travel 25–35% domestically.

Aufgaben

• Review customer specifications and translate needs into clear technical requirements for internal R&D teams.
• Develop and execute battery test plans based on customer and product requirements.
• Analyze test data and prepare technical reports to support product validation and customer evaluations.
• Troubleshoot battery and system-level issues, including charging behavior, discharge performance, BMS protection events, communication faults, and electrical interface compatibility.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support for battery installation, commissioning, configuration, and system integration.
• Manage customer technical support cases, document issues, track open items, and coordinate internal resources to drive timely resolution.
• Support the preparation, delivery, installation, and evaluation of customer samples while communicating technical status and project timelines.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical training for customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Participate in product definition, design reviews, testing, and validation activities, providing feedback from an application and customer perspective.
• Conduct technical benchmarking and competitive product evaluations, including performance testing, teardown analysis, and specification comparisons.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including product specifications, application notes, installation guides, test reports, and troubleshooting guides.
• Follow established electrical, battery, and workplace safety procedures during testing, handling, installation, and field support activities.
• Travel to customer sites, company facilities, and other locations as required.
