Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking knowledgeable, customer-focused auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift technicians to join our team in Arlington, TX. This role concentrates on diagnosing and repairing industrial batteries and chargers, performing scheduled maintenance, and maintaining vehicle inventory.

Candidates should have minimal experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a willingness to work from a company vehicle environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• Less than 2 years related experience.
• Preferred: technical degree, battery/charger repair experience, welding, and familiarity with testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair industrial batteries and chargers.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer batteries and chargers.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.

Job Duties

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair industrial batteries and chargers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree, previous battery and charger repair experience, welding skills, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, ability to read and understand electrical schematics, good written/verbal communication skills, and good customer care skills
