Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking a field service technician to troubleshoot and repair industrial batteries and chargers at customer sites. You will perform scheduled maintenance, manage van inventory, and complete service documentation in a timely manner.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and related experience; a technical degree and knowledge of electrical schematics are preferred. This on-site role emphasizes reliable customer service and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer technical degree and battery/charger repair experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and perform maintenance tasks.

Job Duties

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree, previous battery and charger repair experience, welding skills, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, ability to read and understand electrical schematics, good written/verbal communication skills, and good customer care skills
